Brass Ganesha Reading on Recliner with Inlay Work
Brass Ganesha Reading on Recliner with Inlay Work
A moment of learning, rendered in brass and colour.
This Brass Ganesha Reading on Recliner with Inlay Work depicts Ganesha absorbed in an open book. A regal turban, curved trunk and relaxed seated pose lend the figure a distinctive character, while red, green and blue decorative inlays create rich detail across the attire and chair.
Inspired by Ganesha's association with wisdom and learning, the composition presents him reading the Mahabharata. Its intimate scale and thoughtful subject make it a meaningful accent for a study, living room or home mandir.
Design & character
The handmade brass statue combines an antique metallic finish with multicolour inlay work. The recliner's curved rails and the open book complete this unusual devotional composition.
